SCENAR® Sport D Overview
RITM SCENAR® Personal range of devices – Home, Sport and Sport D, are electro-therapy devices with built-in electrodes that deliver complex electrical impulses through the skin to give pain relief.
All Personal devices incorporate the Genuine SCENAR technology and the newest 2018 developments – 2x Dose Modes and 2 x Presets with bioGap function.
RITM SCENAR® Sport D is designed for home users to manage their pain and to speed up the recovery process from acute and chronic pain, sport injury and post operative pain.

Features
The RITMSCENAR® Sport D is the top of the range of the personal SCENAR devices family. It is identical in functions to the RITMSCENAR Sport model but is equipped with an LCD screen. The screen displays energy strength, treatment progress, current settings and skin contact indication which make the device very easy to use and operate.
The RITM SCENAR® Sport D supports one auto mode called Dose 1 Mode and one screening Mode – Dose 2. This is the newest development in SCENAR technology by RITM OKB ZAO.
In Dose 1 Mode the device will deliver an individual measured stimulation according to the body response to the impulse. Dose 1 is also used to quickly identify the best treatment locations.
In Dose 2 Mode, the device screens the treatment area by reading the skin reaction and displaying the best areas to treat on the LCD. It is used for treating larger body areas such as the back, chest and the abdomen.
Another 2018 features added to the Personal devices are the two Presets:
Preset 1 – useful for chronic and stubborn pain and aches
Preset 2 – bioGap where the gap between the SCENAR impulses change according to the skin reaction. BioGap preset is suitable for acute and sub-acute pains.
The RITMSCENAR® Sport D supports four impulse Frequencies – 14Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz and 340Hz, suitable for treating degenerative processes (low frequencies) or inflammatory processes in acute state (high frequencies). This allows the user to select the most appropriate treatment setting for the phase of the painful condition.
The Amplitude Modulation feature in RITMSCENAR® Sport D is fixed to 3:1 and is very effective in the treatment of pain in muscles and ligaments.
The RITMSCENAR® Sport D also supports Frequency Modulation in the range of 30Hz to 120Hz. This setting is commonly used to create a change in the painful condition.

RITMSCENAR Personal devices are portable medical devices, used for delivering non-invasive therapeutic treatment on the skin to regulate physiologic systems of the body in order to relieve and manage different pain-related pathologies.
SCENAR devices are indicated to be used in professional medicine and at home in the following cases:
- to analgesic therapies in pains in bones, muscles, joints and ligaments;
- to manage acute and chronic back pain;
- to treat primary dysmenorrhea;
- for procedural pain management after timed endometrial biopsy;
- to alleviate attacks and for course treatment of trigeminal neuralgia;
- to relieve pain in diabetic neuropathy (diabetic foot);
- to relieve pain in postherpetic neuralgia concurrently with antiviral drug therapy;
- for pain relief in chronic/recurrent headaches and tension-related headaches.
Do not use SCENAR if you have any of the following conditions:
- Individual intolerance (hyper sensitization), including pregnancy;
- Heart pacemaker;
- Alcohol intoxication;
- Acute infectious diseases.
